This is the third of three meetings held to discuss important issues. All CSSA players are invited to attend.

Men's Rule Changes
1. Recruitment: Effective 2011, each team may recruit players based on their league positioning from the previous year. 1st place team may recruit 1, 2nd place may recruit 2: 3rd,4th,5th may recruit 3.
2. Draft: During the draft for new players, the bottom team will have the option to pick or pass on a player once the player pool narrows down to four players for the Gold and five players for the Silver.
3. New Players: The Board and Managers will determine the skill level of NEW players to determine who plays in the Gold or Silver Division.
4. Rosters: A team will not be required to take more than 15 players.
5. Courtesy Foul: A courtesy foul rule is that once the batter has one strike, they are allowed one courtesy foul. The next foul will be an out.

Co-Ed Rule Changes:
1. Recruitment: Effective 2011, each team may recruit based on their league positioning from the previous year. 1st place team may recruit 1 (male or female); 2nd place may recruit 2 players (1 male & 1 female); 3rd, 4th, 5th place teams may recruit 3 players (a combination of male & female, but not all three of 1 sex); 6th place may recruit 4 players (a combination of male & female, but not all from 1 sex). The NEW TEAM will also have the option to recruit the same as the 6th place team.
2. Draft: During the draft for new players, the bottom team will have the option to pick or pass on a player once the player pool narrows down to six players.
3. Courtesy Runner: A courtesy runner of either gender, last out. A courtesy runner may only run once per inning.
4. Courtesy Foul: The Courtesy Foul rule is that once the batter has one strike, they are allowed one courtesy foul. The next foul will be an out.
If sportsmanship is not a good enough reason for limiting yourself to ASA-allowable bats, potential injuries or even criminal prosecution should be. If in doubt about whether your bat is legal or possibly lethal, ask the umpire and Allen.
